Yong has 25 years of professional government affairs experience, including corporate, trade association, and public sector. Hired by Rite Aid as the youngest Vice President in its company’s history to open and lead their Government Affairs Office in Washington, DC. Yong has extensive experience advising both corporations and nonprofit organizations on government affairs strategies, coalition building, communications, community relations, and political engagement. Marie Long is a government affairs professional with a proven track record in navigating complex legislative landscapes. She served as Assistant Vice President of Federal Affairs at AT&T where she lobbied on a variety of telecommunications, merger acquisitions, taxes and regulatory issues. She managed AT&T’s relationships with national third-party organizations and developed partnerships with community and consumer organizations.
